Monotype had multiple sources of record for managing master font data for its different fonts. In order to expand the use of universal licensing models to enable business growth, the organization realized that an integrated master data solution would be needed to facilitate acquisition and syndication of new and updated agreements with font foundries to distribute fonts via their different digital platforms.
