PIM Business Analyst

Our consulting team engages with our clients to assess and implement best-of-breed applications and digital solutions to address product, vendor, and customer data needs. C2 partners with leading PIM/MDM software vendors – including Informatica, EnterWorks, Riversand, and inRiver – in delivering these solutions. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst with hands-on experience gathering detailed business and technical requirements, creating business use and test cases, and acting as a liaison by creating lines of communication between technical and business teams. If you have at least three years of relevant professional work experience and strong business analyst experience, we’d like to talk with you.

Responsibilities
  • Lead in-person discovery meetings with clients and stakeholders to evaluate current PIM/MDM systems and processes along with adapting unique business needs to create and recommend new PIM/MDM solutions
  • Conduct “day in the life” of a product session with the client to gain end-to-end context of product acquisition/creation, enhancement, and distribution to end points
  • Document components to integrate PIM/MDM solutions with external applications such as eCommerce, ERP, CRM, website, and third party channels
  • Prepare documentation of business requirements for processes in a way that allows for re-use of those requirements for future projects
  • Design and build workflows and custom portal components to enhance governance and quality of product data solutions
  • Help define test cases and develop and execute test plans
  • Compile analysis reports that are delivered to developers and follow-up on all results
  • Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project
  • Hold regular stakeholder meeting to keep all interested parties updated on project progress
  • Build and maintain long-term client and business partner relationships
  • 40-60% travel required
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant analyst work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall project software development methodologies
  • Strong experience in user testing and project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related major; MBA a plus - Computer Science classes or degree a plus
  • PIM/MDM experience with major platforms (Informatica, EnterWorks, Riversand, inRiver, InfoSphere) a plus
