Position Summary C2 is seeking a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to plan, design and execute the testing of eCommerce web-based applications. The successful candidate will review requirements and functional documents, create test plans and scripts, execute test cases, manage issues and results and guide our customers through the UAT testing process. Two+ years’ experience working with test strategies and plans, as well as writing test cases and conducting hands-on testing is required. Experience with SDLC and QA process/test methodologies and experience creating/executing Visual Studio (or similar) test tools is also required. Knowledge of software build and release management processes and B2C eCommerce experience is desirable.
Responsibilities
Review requirements and functional documents
Create test plans that incorporate functional testing, supported browser testing, integration and regression testing
Create, maintain and execute test scripts, including manual test cases
Manage issues and results reporting
Work with Project Leaders and Application Engineers to resolve anomalies
Guide customers through the UAT testing process
Knowledge, Skills & Certifications
2+ years’ experience defining test strategies and plans
Solid understanding of SDLC and QA process and test methodologies
Experience creating and executing Visual Studio test tools for functional and performance testing
Competency in the principles and practices of quality control as it relates to software testing
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
