Application Architect/Senior Developer

Position Summary
C2 is seeking an Application Architect/Senior Developer to lead the design, architecture and development of large-scale application development projects. The successful candidate will oversee technical teams, present and defend architecture and technical choices to internal audiences and clients and facilitate working sessions with cross-functional teams to bridge the business/technology gap. Five to seven years of experience with ASP.NET (C#) development, with a strong background in web-based development, object-oriented concepts, relational database design and SQL Server development is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture and development of large-scale custom application development projects
• Present and defend architecture and technical choices to internal audiences and clients
• Interact with internal technical, business and management staff, as well as clients
• Oversee technical team, design and the development process
• Ensure all communication needs are identified in communication plan and addressed
• Drive technical standards
• Mentor developers and serve as an evangelist to the technical team
• Participate in the pre-sales and solution development phases of the business development lifecycle
• Facilitate working sessions with cross-functional teams and bridge the business/technology gap
• Keep current with technology trends and developments in the industry

Knowledge, Skills & Certifications

• Five to seven years of demonstrated experience with ASP.NET (C#) development, with a strong background in web-based development, object-oriented concepts, relational database design and SQL Server development
• Strong, demonstrated hands-on application architecture and design skills
• Demonstrated experience facilitating sessions with a cross functional audience
• Experience with enterprise integration
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (computer science, MIS, electrical engineering)
• Professional services experience is desirable
