Carolyn Edwards, President & CEOCarolyn Edwards is a member of the original team that founded Competitive Computing in 1993. Today she provides leadership for planning and implementing the company’s overall corporate strategy as well as for business development activities. With a passion for bridging technology and business strategies and years of practical experience, Carolyn works with many brand name clients including Orvis, Hershey, and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters to develop eBusiness strategies and to deliver award-winning solutions.Prior to C2, Carolyn held leadership roles at Digital Equipment Corporation, including IT Management for the manufacturing facility in Vermont and an IT Consulting Practice serving Digital customers across the U.S. Carolyn is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
Melissa Dever, Vice President of Engineering
Melissa Dever is also a member the original team that founded Competitive Computing and today provides leadership for application engineering across the consulting practices. Melissa also provides visionary leadership for C2's State & Local Government practice, actively working with government leaders to more effectively leverage technology to serve constituents.
Prior to founding C2, Melissa held multiple management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. She holds an MS in Computer Science and BS in Education from the University of Vermont.
Todd Kelley, Vice President of Operations
Todd Kelley is also a co-founder of Competitive Computing and today is responsible for overseeing the company’s internal operations. With specialized expertise in high-availability, high performance systems, he also manages C2’s Support Center which provides 24x7 service level management of clients’ mission-critical IT environments.
Prior to founding C2, Todd worked for Digital Equipment Corporation as an engineering manager and as manager of a consulting services team. Todd holds several technical certifications and has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and an MS in Manufacturing Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Martin Thieret, Vice President of Infrastructure Services
Martin Thieret is also a co-founder of Competitive Computing and, in his role as Vice President, provides leadership for the company’s Infrastructure Services practice. Working closely with key technology partners including Microsoft, EMC, and HP, Marty and his team design and deliver integrated enterprise networks to both public and private sector clients.
Prior to C2, Martin held various management and technical positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Harris Graphics, and Fisher-Price Toys. He has achieved technical and instructor certifications from Microsoft and is certified by the American Production and Inventory Control Society. Martin holds a BS in Operations Research and a BS in Management Information Systems from Syracuse University and a Master’s in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
